Cookie Dough Chocolate Truffles

I've always got a sweet tooth for anything chocolate or cookie dough so this is the combination (match) make in heaven. I must say I have never made truffles before but now that I have make them I am glad to say they were incredibly easy and only takes 2 to 3 hours until you can eat one!
What you will need

Half a cup of Butter
Three quarters of a cup full of Brown Sugar
One teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Two cups of Self Raising Flour
395grams of Sweetened Condensed Milk
Half a cup of Milk Chocolate Chips
Two cups of Dark Chocolate

Method

Combine the butter and brown sugar in a bowl and use an electric mixer until the mixture looks fluffy.
Whilst mixing gradually pour in the flour, sweetened condensed milk and the vanilla extract, beat well until all is combined.
Once your done with your electric mixer, grab a big mixing spoon and pour half a cup of milk chocolate chips, stir well until evenly mixed.

Whist still in the mixing bowl cover the bowl up in plastic wrap and leave it in the fridge for around an hour.
Once set take the mixture out of the fridge and shape mixture into 1 inch balls by getting a spoonful sized bit of the mixture and rolling it with your hands. If the dough is a bit sticky put some flour on your hands.
You will make a lot of these so make sure that you have room on your tray, put baking paper down and start placing the shapes onto your tray. Once done refrigerate for 20mins.
5mins before you need to get them out of the fridge, start to heat up/melt your dark chocolate.
Dip the cookie dough into the melted chocolate, make sure you cover the entire thing! Place them onto a new piece of baking paper on your tray.
Once fully coated in chocolate, put them in the fridge for another 15mins.
Once set they are ready to eat! Remember to keep them refrigerated, if you would like you can freeze these so you can keep them for a long time.
I hope you liked this weeks blog post, sorry it was up a day late. By the time I had finished these it was 8pm (I usually post at 5pm). Let me know if you would make these or if you have made/tried these before.
